Privacy Policy

AlphaForgeReco is designed to be local-first and privacy-respecting. This policy explains what we store and why.

What we store

• Your preferences (theme, time zone, date format, saved filters, investment profile) — kept so the app remembers your setup.
• Your workspace data (portfolios, watchlists, decisions) that you create.
• If authentication is enabled, your account email and a hashed password (never stored in plain text).
• Market data (prices, fundamentals, news) fetched from public sources and cached for performance.

What we do not do

• No third-party advertising or behavioural tracking.
• We do not sell or share your data.
• Cookies / local storage are used only for essential functions (theme, session, saved selections).

Your control

You can change or clear your preferences at any time from Account · Preferences, and clear cookies/local storage from your browser. Deleting a portfolio or watchlist removes its data.
